SNOW . IT'S SNOWING !

It did not just snowed once, twice, but more than 3 times. I will never thought that this will ever happened in Liverpool, because Liverpool is near to river side and it can't get snow as often and as much as compare to others Uk cities. Though we are so so lucky, the entire streetscape covered with white colour, with the yellow lighting, the entire scence is just so nice.

we joined Marcus, Adeline, Elane, Seth and Maggi to built snowman and we had a awesome snowball fight too. Well as usual, I'm the one who always got blasted, shame because there isn;t anyone want to allie with me!

Can't wait for the coming Christmas and the Boxing day.

though the coldness freeze our fingers...it's so cold.

this is so freaking nice, I love this picture so much. Thanks to Adeline.

LONDON

was a real shock today when we woke up, the time was only 5 minutes away from the scheaduled train time to London.. It was a mad rush, and running from the house to the railway station in the super cold 5 am morning was like so crazy... SERIOUSLY NO MORE MORNING TRIP!
Anyway, we were to London to visits some building for History assignment. Tao and I went to Tate. To be honest, I am not impressed with Tate design, though I need to give credit for the architect for being humble while blending the new to the old, though I guess the new proposal for the Tate by Herzog is too monstrous.
Though we are lucky that we manage visit David Chipperfield exhibition which just started a few days ago... I'm not a very huge fan of him but some of his project on restoration projects are interesting, and we realized that we actually missed out his building in our Berlin trip... SHAME...=.=
my first trip to London was so short and for that I can't judge if I really like this city but I will defo. come for more in near future. ;)

p/ssaw this invisible man while on the way to David Chipperfield exhibitions

so hectic with assignments lately, will upload and updates trip once I'm free...;)

RAINBOW

There been several rainbows appear in front of my window when I awake. Will there be a surprise for me soon?

I hope so.

A . BIRTHDAY

It has been hectic days lately, we have been really busy and this is even worst for the juniors because their submissions for studio are compressed from scheaduled 2 weeks to a week. So we celebrated Sook Tin's birthday a few days delayed from her original birthday. Sigh, why architecture students can't have a life? URGH! Anyway, we had a good dinner in Izzi Restaurant together :)
the birthday girl, Sook TinThey can still posed after several days of sleepless nights, powerful...meet the Malaysian Archi students :D ok back to works

A . PRESENTATION

It was a year since I'm in Liverpool University and seriously I've learnt a lot. Today's presentation was really scary, because you need to present your idea in front of a camera that records down your presentation in a hall, a huge blank screen where your presentation board projected and of course all the lecturers and students. With all the eyes staring at you, it's just scary, and nervous. There are only several students were picked for these. Celdrick and I were greatful that we are one of those students, though I think I did not presented it in a good way. Sigh, I hope the next one will be a better one.

BERLIN (09092009)

Today was of the last day in Berlin (though we will come back for one more day after Wolfsburg), cause we gonna take the night train to go to Munich. So, today we try to explore as much those famous places that we have not check out. At first we went to the Museum Island, there are several museums in here but we've got no time to enter of them so we just took some picture at the public space.Behind the sculpture, Altes Museum

Celdrick with his international finger signature and me
the Berlin Cathedral

After some quick shooting, we headed to IMPEI Deutsches Historisches Museum, yes, again. and this time we gonna enter the building yay!

I've never been or actually see I.M. Pei building before, because I do not fancy geometric designs?... but his spaces within was IMPRESSIVE! The layering and the leveling of the spaces within the glass box is so interesthing and they appear as if heavy concrete floating in the air.
the perfect circle.

A glassroof courtyard transitional space before the main exhibitions.
Me at the old Deutsches Historisches Museum InteriorAfter that we went to Berlin Philharmonic Hall again. This time, we have a trip to follow, and you knwow hat the tour guide could converse in 3 languages, English, German, and Spanish... and she explain about this building to us using these 3 languages... incredible. Well, as you can see, the circulation spaces within this building is done in a poetic way. Though the staircases are pleasant to the eyes, but using it to go to th VIP room on the top floor are just too tire... beautiful and sustainable glasses
The auditorium. The interesthing part of the auditoriums is that they are actually designed as centralize type instead of shoebox shape which is suppose the conventional shape for auditorium. The reason for this is that Hann wanted the people feel closer to the performer and be a part of the performance...We went to Bauhaus Archiv in Berlin as there is a exhibition there ACCORDING TO CELDRICK... because when we got there, the exhibition was actually at somewhere else...so obvious Celdrick you've got the wrong information... haizLast but not least how can we missed out OMA Dutch Ambassy in Berlin... haha... though we cna not enter the building, it's kinda wasted but never mind we are satisfy with just the exterior views...there are just so much more to explore in Berlin but there is just so little time...for now, Buh bye Berlin for we will be back on the 13th day ;) for now the journey continues in Munich.:P
I know this is chips but in order to save money to visit more places for another 10 more days we've got no choice but to have this for our dinner :'(
